Looking back at my work I completed the first year I lived in Los Angeles, it’s really interesting to see how what was going on in my life and how it correlated to the colors or subject matter I used. In between portraits of people I love to paint object that have lost their use do to progress. I do not use professional models to do paintings of. Friends and coworkers and strangers on the street or just people I might have talk to once or twice, but there is something that makes me feel compelled to paint them.
